The hairpin length gauge is an adjustable device which can measure any length hairpin from 6" to 168". It is made specifically for the tube diameter and bend center of the hairpin being measured. This unit is to be used with (2) Starrett Wireless Indicators which can be used directly with the Data Sure Software. This allows measurements to be taken and transferred to a computer. The data transferred can be exported into most SPC software packages.

This gauge consists mainly of a Front Block (2015), a Rear Block (2016) and Support Blocks (2014). The Front Block is stationary but the Rear Block and Support Blocks can be moved to obtain the desire hairpin length. Several Extension Rods (2019) are provided that can be fastened together to support longer hairpin lengths. A large hole in the center of the blocks has been provided to store unused extension rods.

Each block contains nylon balls, springs, and set screws that help hold every hairpin stationary for single employee operation. The indicator holder will be engraved with "clamp leg" and "free leg" identification marks so hairpins are measured consistently in the proper order.

The wireless features will allow you to transfer data approximately 25 meters to a standard laptop or desktop computer with the included Data Sure Software installed. Once the data is collected, the Data Sure Software allows you to export to a SPC software (not included) compatible with TSV,CSV,XLS,and XML file formats.
