FP-2B Fin Press

The FP-2B fin production line incorporates the use of a 60 ton capacity straight side Oak Fin Press along with an uncoiler, lubricator, fin stamping die and stacker/suction unit combination. The FP-2B is available in two widths, 36 inches and 48 inches. This production line allows for the production of quality fins ranging from 1 to 108 inches long (maximum) when using fin stock with a maximum width ranging from 26 inches to 40 inches. This press series have bed openings from 34 inch x 34 inch and 46 inch x 34 inch and can accommodate fin dies with a shut-height range of 9 inch to 13 inch. The standard stroke length offered on the FP-2B Fin Press is 1 1/2 inch. It can be changed to 2 inch if taller collar heights are required. A hydraulic withdrawal feature incorporated into the press slide allows access to the inner tooling of the fin stamping die without removing the die from the press.
